Can cells be frozen and stored in the Cell Lysis Buffer?

Yes.

Pre-sorted cells and cell suspensions can be stored at -80°C in the Cell Lysis Buffer (CLB) provided with the LUTHOR HD kit.

ATTENTION! In this case, do not add the RNA Amplification Primer in the CLB and do not perform the cell lysis step! These will be done before proceeding with the library preparation when the samples will be thawed. For any questions, please contact our Tech Support team at support@lexogen.com.
