Can I use UMIs for QuantSeq-Flex libraries?

The UMI module can be used for preparing QuantSeq-Flex libraries (QuantSeq Flex Fist Strand Synthesis Module), as long as random priming is used for second strand synthesis.

For use with QuantSeq-Flex, the UMI Second Strand Synthesis Mix (USS) replaces the Second Strand Synthesis Mix 1 (SS1) from the standard QuantSeq kit at step 7.
