How are the SIRV transcripts and isoform mixes produced?
SIRV isoforms and long SIRVs are generated by T7 transcription from synthetic genes and are rigorously purified to minimize side products.
Isoform Mixes E0, E1 and E2 are each composed of 4 SIRV transcript Sub-Mixes.
These four Sub-Mixes are prepared from one of 8 Pre-Mixes, allowing for the unique identification of each SIRV by capillary electrophoresis while entering the mixing scheme.
An Illustration of how the Sub-Mixes contribute to SIRV transcript concentrations within each Isoform Mix is illustrated in the SIRV-Set 1 User Guide.
