Indexing Solutions

Lexogen offers flexible options for indexing libraries for sequencing on Illumina instrument platforms.

  • Lexogen’s 6 nt i7 indices are included in all (non UDI) Library Prep Kits for QuantSeq, CORALL and Small RNA-Seq. Depending on the kit size, up to 96 indices are supplied.

  • Lexogen’s 96, 6 nt i5 indices are available in the 6 nt i5 Dual Indexing Add-on Kits (Cat. No. 047). Please note these i5 indices are not compatible for use with the Small RNA-Seq Library Prep Kit.

  • Lexogen’s 384 12 nt Unique Dual Indices (UDIs) are available as pre-mixed i7/i5 combinations, in sets of 96, or 384. These can be purchased in add-on kits containing additional PCR reagents, as well as Index Sets, which contain only the UDI primer mixes.

NOTE: The 6 nt i7 indices supplied with the Lexogen Small RNA-Seq Library Prep kit are not compatible for use with the QuantSeq, CORALL, or LUTHOR Library Prep Kits, and vice versa. See also: Can indices provided with other Lexogen library preps kits be used for small RNA library preparation?
