Mix² is Lexogen’s proprietary software for accurate estimation of RNA concentration and transcript abundance, from RNA-Seq data.
Mix² makes no assumptions about coverage bias but fits a mixture model for each transcript isoform to the data. This results in more accurate estimations than other programs that assume a uniform coverage model for every gene or transcript.
