Should I perform a DNase treatment before QuantSeq FFPE?

As the risk of gDNA contamination is higher due to the degradation of RNA in FFPE samples, it is recommended to perform a DNase treatment prior to library prep.

Two options for DNase treatment of FFPE samples:

• DNA Removal Add-on Module (Cat. No. 235) or

• SPLIT One-Step FFPE RNA Extraction Kit (Cat. No. 236 - available soon)
