How can I determine the amount of globin mapping reads in my sequencing data?

The percentage of reads mapping to globin mRNAs is calculated as the fraction of read counts uniquely mapping to globin genes, divided by the total number of uniquely mapped reads.

Uniquely mapped read counts are generated from the in-house QuantSeq data analysis and can be downloaded among the resulting output files. Additional information related to the output files provided with the in-house QuantSeq data analysis can be found here: What output files are provided with the in-house data analysis?

Lists of Ensembl gene IDs for human and pig globin genes are provided in the tables below.
